i bit the bullet and started virastop 1/2 capsule a day, changed to 1/4
capsule twice a day starting dosages. it has been 3 days. annie
developed the rash 3 hours after first dose. looks like a few pimples
on leg and tummy. i am thrilled.
then i noticed that i did not notice
any seizures. i figured my mind was playing tricks on me as she has
breakthrough seizures all the time. then, sit down for this one, she
learned to change the channel on the tv today. she pushes the buttons
and changes it up and then back down to her elmo video. wow. what is
this? she is more focused, more in tuned, happier, playful and kissing
not biting. all this in 3 days- doesnt seem possible but its about
time we got a wow response after little to no responses to so many
other interventions.
my plan is to increase the virastop over time
slowly as annie is a sensitive gal, and get my pediatricians input on
valtrex. could it be that
we are actually finally addressing a causative factor for annies
epilepsy and autism? still on the fence about vitamin A but wow what a
christmas gift for us-and thanks for all the advice and the great
great support.
